| Welcome Everyone. I would like to thank you for stopping by and learning about our company. Companions Funeral Service was founded by, Martin P. Kvasnicka, a licensed Illinois Funeral Director. What Companions Funeral Service provides is the knowledge and expertise of our funeral customs for humans and tailors that to the needs of our pets or rather our companions. Because our pets/companions are just as much a family member as anyone else in the family, they deserve to be treated with the utmost respect in life as well as in death. Our mission is to offer our community comprehensive pet/companion funeral services. The Funeral The funeral is a cermony that has become a great value for the family of the deceased pet/companion. It allows the family to come together and pay tribute, express their love, and grieve the loss of their loving pet/companion. In the sharing of sorrow they are able to comfort one another. The funeral ceremony is an event at which the family truely accepts the fact that a death has occured. Accepting the death is considered the first step in the healing/mourning process. The Traditional Service The traditional funeral service includes a closed casket visitation, a service in the home, a procession to the burial site and a graveside service. The Memorial Service The memorial funeral service includes visitation with the cremated remains either present or not and a memorial service in the home. The Cremation Service The cremation service includes our professional service and does not include any memorialization services. . |
